Dear Listener:

I'm not much of a letter-writer. As the sheriff here, I'm used to writing incident reports, not chatty letters. But my daughter, Megan -- who'll be making me a grandfather soon -- told me I had to do this. So here goes.

I'll tell you straight out that I'd hoped to marry Faith Beckwith (my one-time high school girlfriend) but she ended the relationship last month, even though we're both widowed and available. There were a few misunderstandings between us, some of them inadvertently caused by Megan.

However, I've got plenty to keep me occupied, like the unidentified remains found in a cave outside town. And the fact that my friend, Judge Olivia Griffin, is fighting cancer. And the break-ins at 204 Rosewood Lane -- the house Faith happens to be renting from Grace Harding...

Another great installment in the Cedar Cove series. I did enjoy this one better than the previous installment. I am enjoying this series as Ms. Macomber knows how to introduce new characters will keeping previous characters fresh and updated.

A nice light read. A great series!

I have read every book in this series and was VERY disappointed in 14. But I do have to say I liked this one better than 14. I laughed in a few places. I just wish Ms. Evanovich would throw us a bone about the love triangle. It has been stale for awhile...Will keep reading the series though.

The description really says it all. If you want to keep the "Laura Ingalls" image of Melissa Gilbert do NOT read this book. I admit I did skim through parts of the book. There are just some things I didn't want to know. I thought there would have been more "Little House" stories or more information on her relationship with Michael Landon, but there wasn't. It was an ok read. At the end of the book, she printed out some of the other title ideas for her book and I can't believe some people had the nerve to send some in. WOW!

This is the first in the "Hot Zone" series. I throughly enjoyed it. This is the second series I have read by Carly Phillips. The first being her "Lucky" series. This is one of those books that you wonder why you waited so long to read it. I can't wait to read the remaining books in the series.

This might be the best in the triology. They all were good, actually. You should read them in order to get the back stories. Highly recommended series. I am a new fan of Christie Ridgway. These are the first books I have read by her and will be reading more. Don't let the titles throw you off. =) Actually that is how I picked up "How to Knit a Wild Bikini". What a way to grab the reader. I am hooked!

This is the third in the "Lone Star Sisters" series. I was hesitant to read this as the last Susan Mallery series I read I was very disappointed in the plot in the last book. But then I read that there is a fourth book so I relaxed a little. =) I enjoyed this book. This is Izzy's story. I really like how the other characters are still interacting in the future books. The next book comes out in November and it is the sisters' friend Dana. Reading the synopsis...... I don't know..... I am going to TRY and read it with and open mind..... =) I promise.
